Uttaran is a daily Hindi soap broadcasting on the Indian channel Colors TV. It replaced Bigg Boss(Season 2) and went on air on December 1, 2008 at 10:00 pm. Within a month, it was able to retain a position among the top 20 TV programmes in India.
